A Caring Community: Hospice Services

Ultimately the process of dying—like the process of living—is a unique process for each of us. Signature Hospice, part of the Avamere Family of Companies, helps loved ones and their families' embrace this time through our end-of-life hospice services. During this stage in one's journey, no aggressive treatments are done because they can cause more suffering than can be justified.

Signature Hospice focuses on the individual and their needs in a holistic approach that focuses on comfort care. They work with a community of physicians, hospice nurses and hospice services volunteers to ensure that the final needs of our patients are met in the most loving and respectful way possible. Hospice services can be administered in a variety of settings depending on the wishes of loved ones. Patients are made as comfortable as possible through hospice services, so they can live each day as fully as possible.

Signature Hospice is also the creator of the Oregon-based volunteer program "No One Dies Alone," which works in conjunction with local hospitals and clinics ensuring that no one ever has to die alone.
