Portland’s Signature Home Health Receives Deficiency Free Survey

Signature Home Health recently achieved one of the highest distinctions of quality care – a deficiency-free survey from Oregon Department of Human Services. This survey examines more than 200 quality, safety, and performance issues over the course of several days. The survey outcome speaks to the quality of care and services Signature Home Health and its employees strive to provide on a daily basis. Infinity Clinician Champions Telehealth Supervision

Last month, Angie Quesnell, SLP and Regional SLP Mentor for Infinity Rehab, championed a proposal that will allow for the use of telehealth supervision of first-year SLP students in the State of Washington. Videoconferencing technology helps broaden therapist’s access to patients and peers in remote areas while cutting down transportation costs and boosting efficiency. The Washington State Board of Hearing and Speech ruled unanimously in favor of her proposal on November 15th. Groundbreakings at Keizer and Salem (VIDEO)

On November 12, Avamere Family of Companies broke ground on two new facilities — the new Salem Transitional Care (near Bonaventure Assisted Living) and a memory care facility adjacent to Avamere Court at Keizer. The two groundbreaking events included members of Avamere’s management team, Bonaventure and Keizer staff, as well as representatives from the Oregon Health Care Association and the City of Keizer and the City of Salem — including Salem Mayor Anna Peterson.
