Infinity Clinician Champions Telehealth Supervision

Last month, Angie Quesnell, SLP and Regional SLP Mentor for Infinity Rehab, championed a proposal that will allow for the use of telehealth supervision of first-year SLP students in the State of Washington. Videoconferencing technology helps broaden therapist’s access to patients and peers in remote areas while cutting down transportation costs and boosting efficiency. The Washington State Board of Hearing and Speech ruled unanimously in favor of her proposal on November 15th. Avamere Family of Companies Invests $1M in Advance Therapy Equipment

The Avamere Family of Companies purchased nearly $1M in advance rehabilitation technology for use in its skilled nursing and transitional care centers by Infinity Rehab – the Company’s post-acute therapy division. In addition to the significant monetary investment, approximately 750 hours of clinician training across all disciplines in the therapy department will take place during the coming months.
