May 28, 2019

Staff at Avamere Transitional Care of Puget Sound think of care in a whole new way. They don’t think healing after an injury or illness should be mundane – and why should it?

That’s why they offer a first-class experience to their guests. Here’s a taste of what it’s like to rehabilitate with Avamere.

Enjoy meals specially prepared by a professional chef

A culinary graduate prepares three meals a day for Avamere Puget Sound guests. They can visit with fellow guests while they eat in the dining room, enjoy the sunshine with their meal in the courtyard, or take meals to their room for some privacy.

Coming this summer, guests will be able to order from a room menu. And as a bonus, breakfast will be served all day!

Grab a coffee anytime

The bistro at Avamere Transitional Care of Puget Sound is open 24 hours and available to all, including employees. Guests and employees can enjoy a delicious beverage any time of the day or night, with selections from coffee, espresso, juice, tea, and hot chocolate.

Relax at the in-house spa

Guests can enjoy a massage by a licensed massage therapist. Avamere also offers a whirlpool to relax those muscles, aromatherapy to improve your emotional and physical balance, and a full-service hair and nail salon.

Set your own exercise schedule

The state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym is open seven days a week late into the evening hours so guests have the freedom to choose their workout and therapy time.

The gym is surrounded by glass at the center of the building, giving the room an open feel.

Rehabilitate in a resort setting

Rooms at Avamere Transitional Care of Puget Sound are modeled to feel like a resort stay. Many guests only stay for a few weeks, so why not make your time away feel like a vacation?

All rooms are private with large bathrooms stocked with quality linen and toiletries. Each bathroom includes a large walk-in/roll-in shower complete with a bath bench.

Keep your personal items in a wooden built-in shelf and a large wooden armoire. Set the room temperature the way you like it with controlled heating and air conditioning.

You can also relax with your favorite show or movie on a large flat screen smart TV in your own private room. All guests have access to many streaming options such as Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Netflix.

You have a choice

You have a choice for rehabilitation. When you need care, choose somewhere you’ll feel right at home.
