Landmark decision in Oregon

The skilled nursing division of Avamere Living, a major employer of certified nursing assistants (CNAs), has reached a landmark agreement with Service Employees International Union, Local 503, on a new contract to increase staff CNA and other position wages, offer additional training and mentoring opportunities, expand career growth opportunities, and increase staffing.

CNAs for Avamere throughout Oregon will now make $18-$23.49 per hour based on experience. Additional incentives for evening shifts and bonus opportunities are also available.
