WORLD MENTAL HEALTH DAY
The theme for this year’s observance is 'Unequal World.'Recognized October 10, Avamere is helping raise mental health awareness and emphasizing that each of us can make a contribution to ensure that people living with mental illness can live better lives with dignity.
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF OLDER PERSONS
Take time to acknowledge an older adult in your life!Honored October 1, this day raises awareness about issues affecting the elderly, such as senescence and elder abuse. It is also a day to appreciate the contributions that older people make to society.
INTERNATIONAL DAY OF SIGN LANGUAGES

This observance promotes the use of sign languages in recognition of the 72 million Deaf individuals worldwide.

PURPLE HEART DAY
A time to honor the brave men and women serving on our military battlefieldsPurple Heart Day is observed on August 7 each year and is a time for Americans to remember and honor the brave men and women who were either wounded on the battlefield, or paid the ultimate sacrifice with their lives.
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)
ERGs are voluntary, employee-led groups where team members join together based on common interests, backgrounds, or other demographic factors such as gender, race, or ethnicity.
Avamere launched ERGs in July 2021 with a goal to build an inclusive community where everyone can truly feel like they belong.
