Chief Executive Officer

Rick Miller

Chief Executive Officer

Rick Miller founded the Avamere Group in 1995 with the acquisition of a single skilled nursing facility in Hillsboro, Oregon. With a progressive agenda to keep seniors healthy, independent, and in their home of choice for as long as practical, he led the growth and diversification of Avamere, sustaining an annual growth rate approaching 20% until 2012, when he became the Board Chair.  Rick returned in 2018 as the CEO.

A highlight of his leadership occurred in 2010 when he wanted to understand, first hand, the customer and employee experience. Rick moved into and lived full time, for a year, in three different locations including independent living, assisted living, and skilled nursing. This experience resulted in many operational changes and was an evolutionary time in the history of the company.

In 2010 Rick co-founded the venture capital firm, Rogue Venture Partners. Rogue invests primarily in Oregon based entrepreneurs and early stage businesses with funding and mentorship.

Donna draws from more than 30 years in healthcare as a nurse, physical therapist, consultant, and program specialist for post-acute providers. Beginning in 2001, Donna has shared her progressive expertise in several leadership roles since joining the Avamere Family of Companies.

As Vice President of Business Development for Infinity Rehab, Donna led new business growth and expansion, helping make Infinity a premiere multi-regional contract rehabilitation provider. Her leadership of program development allowed Infinity to address the growing needs of customers and take advantage of evolving market opportunities.

In 2010 Donna expanded her role in sales and marketing spanning all Avamere family ancillary companies, including Signature Healthcare at Home, mobile radiology, and medical supplies. A year later she became leader of sales and marketing across all company divisions, adding: skilled nursing, assisted living, memory care, retirement, and the Avamere Health Services Home Office to her responsibilities.

Over the next four years, Donna’s focus on Avamere’s network of care (CareConnect) led teams to transform clinical and operational processes to achieve the triple aim: better patient/resident experience, better results, and lower cost of care. Mary also believes in staying authentic to one’s true self, and that integrity of words and actions is what draws people together to accomplish great things. She believes this is what draws people to someone as a leader and a worker.

When she’s not working, you can find her enjoying the outdoors with her family.  Mary loves sports and game night and her greatest reward is in being a wife, and mother of four curious strong-willed kids.

Division President, Infinity

JoLynn Munro

Division President, Infinity

JoLynn Munro, M.S., OTR/L, is the Division President of Infinity Rehab. As a member of the team since 2007, Munro considers Infinity Rehab home – the place she is meant to be. She loves the vision and culture shared by Infinity Rehab leadership and staff.

Before becoming Division President, Munro shared her talents as Area Rehab Director and Regional Director of Operations. She brought exceptional knowledge, skills, and passion in every role and continues to do so as Division President.

As a leader, Munro gains strength through the network of support throughout Infinity. She believes in a team effort to move Infinity Rehab successfully through the many changes and challenges the company will face in the future.

Munro has led teams through significant changes, rallying people around a specific vision and idea. She honed these skills through her experience in the Leadership Academy, an important program offered through Infinity. As a Leadership Academy coach, Munro believes she benefitted while helping others advance their leadership skills. The idea of continuous development of skilled and passionate leaders will be a key component of the future success of Infinity Rehab.

In addition to leadership, Munro is also passionate about therapy. She has spoken about topics such as medication management, among others, at several conferences, including the American Occupational Therapy Association, Leading Age Washington, and Washington Healthcare Association conferences.

She is a member of several professional organizations, including the American Occupational Therapy Association and the National Association of Rehabilitation Providers and Agencies.

Munro earned her master’s degree in occupational therapy from Washington University in 1990. She brings her experience and insight as an Occupational Therapist (OT) to her role as Division President. OTs look at their patients as a whole person. Munro applies this thought process to Infinity. Rather than focused leadership on component parts, Infinity must be led as a whole company with a focus on those processes and changes that are most beneficial.

Munro feels humbled to be where she is today. She lives by being passionate, building and supporting teams, moving forward with confidence, and embracing both challenges and opportunities.

When she’s not working, you can find Munro reading a good book, biking along a trail, hiking with her husband of 25 years, or spending time with her family.
