Avamere Employee survey results

WILSONVILLE, Ore. – Over 90 percent of the 2,510 employees who took a recent survey from the Avamere Family of Companies believe Avamere cares about the patient, resident, and family experience.

These responses came from employees across Avamere Health Services, Avamere skilled nursing facilities and community-based care, Infinity Rehab, and Signature Healthcare at Home.

“The employee satisfaction survey is an important human resources tool used to gauge the pulse of an organization and how our most important assets (people) feel about their work environment (culture), among numerous other aspects of the total organization,” said Colby Strunk, Risk and Compliance Coordinator for the Avamere Family of Companies.

This question was crucial to see how staff perceive executive leader’s, manager’s, and field employee’s level of caring about what the Avamere teams strive to accomplish every day: “to enhance the life of every person we serve.”

“Avamere practices what we preach, and that is integrity above all else,” Strunk said. “We have strong guiding core values that are in line with and directly contribute to a high level of patient and family care. I am delighted and encouraged that our staff feel as strongly as we do about our heart of service for those entrusted to our care.”

This question was part of a 30-question employee satisfaction survey created as part of the People Priority, one of Avamere’s strategic priorities.

Their work in this priority includes measuring customer feedback and staff perception, defining their customer service model, and evaluating hospitality.

The Avamere customer experience model is a holistic approach that emphasizes their heart of service – built on the foundation of proactive personalized attention, clear communication, active listening, empathy, and responsiveness.

Avamere uses results from employee and patient surveys to ensure team satisfaction and ensure patients are receiving the high-quality standards Avamere has implemented.

The 2019 employee survey responses on patient and resident experience across all business lines ranked from 90 to 94 percent. Strunk states they aim to increase their satisfaction to 95 percent by the next annual satisfaction survey.
