Troy Perry Named Admin of the Year by OHCA

October 4, 2021

For Immediate Release: 10/4/21

LAKE OSWEGO, Ore. – The Oregon Health Care Association named Troy Perry, Administrator with The Pearl at Kruse Way, as 2021 Administrator of the Year.

“I’m humbled and honored to be recognized for this award,” Perry stated. “However, this would never be possible if not for our committed staff and management team – this award is a reflection of their teamwork and effort to providing the quality care our seniors need and deserve.”

Perry earned this award amongst the COVID-19 pandemic, during which he has run two COVID-19 units, one at Laurelhurst Village and another at The Pearl at Kruse Way, which is active today.

According to the OHCA, their award recipients demonstrate a commitment to quality care through their dedication to residents, staff, and the community-based care profession.

Perry earned an OHCA award alongside two other Avamere employees:

  • Hannah Johnson, Life Enrichment Director with Avamere at Seaside, Enrichment of Life Award
  • Sara Sutherland, Director of Education for Avamere Living Community-Based Care, Leader of the Year

Their achievements exemplify one of Avamere’s core values: quality that is obvious.

Johnson, Sutherland, and Perry will be recognized at the Annual Convention on November 10, 2021 in Portland, Oregon.
