Thank you to all the men, women and volunteers of Jackson County and beyond who worked tirelessly to keep our community safe during the recent Penninger fire. Table Rock Memory Care Community was in the fire range when the level 3 evacuation notice was announced. Our entire team immediately initiated our crisis training and began to safely and calmly prepare the memory care residents for evacuation. Avamere at Rogue Valley, Avamere at Medford, and The Springs at Veranda Park graciously sent over additional staff, provided buses, supplies, and prepared accommodations at their locations for our residents.
By the time the staff got two buses filled with the first batch of residents for evacuation, we received the call that the level 3 evacuation notice was downgraded to level 2 “Be Set” warning. We are so proud of our staff for making this the least stressful situation for our residents (considering the circumstances), and the outpouring of support from the other facilities. Their incredible quickness to respond is a wonderful reminder of the amazing community Table Rock Memory Care Community is a part of and the love and selflessness we have for each other during critical times
No one ever wants to be in a situation like this, but in this case the whole community was there to support us. THANK YOU!
