On August 1st, Avamere Living officially acquired a campus in Port Orchard, Washington, a beautiful community just south of Bremerton on the west side of the Puget Sound. Avamere Rehabilitation at Ridgemont is the new SNF facility, and right next door are The Villas at Ridgemont, a collection of independent senior apartments. Ridgemont Rehabilitation has a long history in the Port Orchard area, with great clinical and public sector relationships that we are so excited to welcome into the Avamere Living family.
Adding a new facility requires an enormous amount of work, both before and after the official acquisition date. Administrator Heather Dartt and her team at Ridgemont have brought enthusiasm and a team-first approach to the countless meetings and emails that are required for a successful transition. We are so fortunate to have a leader like Heather joining our team, and we know that this partnership will benefit everyone in the Port Orchard area for years to come.
