Late last month, Roxanne Stennett was named Avamere’s first-ever female Chief Operating Officer. This comes after serving as the Vice President of Operations since 2021, following 3 years as one of two Regional Directors of Operations. In her role as COO, Roxy’s goal is to establish strong leaders in all Avamere facilities, focus on driving a strong company culture, and reinforce Avamere’s Core Values.
“Being named COO is just a title change to me; I still see myself supporting the buildings to the best of my ability. But I am very humbled at the opportunity to serve our staff and residents in this capacity. I see great things on the horizon for Avamere and I’m excited to be part of it,” says Roxy. Longtime coworker and VP of Market Strategy, Maggie Hilty Katz, says, “I don’t know anyone as deserving of this title as Roxy. She is so dedicated to excellence in Operations, and exemplifies our core values as well as anyone in the company. I couldn’t be happier for her, or for Avamere.”
In her free time, Roxy enjoys boating, camping, water sports, and paddle boarding with her two teenage daughters. She lives for the sun and warm weather, and also raises a rare breed of cat – she usually has a handful of kittens at home at any given time!
